Peek-a-boo, no more!

“I have nothing anything to wear” is probably the most used sentence by us all!!

Every day we go through a wardrobe dilemma, crying out about the lack of options!
Most often its weight that plays villain! How to hide the fat, we wonder? Sometimes we succeed but at times our endeavor is futile. Oh and it also doesn’t help that the clothes this season are to die for!!!! Colors at their best, vibrant, energetic, acidic, just plain lovely! So how do we make this work? Well, we could get off our lazy ass and hit the gym and quit this hide and seek game for good or we can exercise the skill! We’re huge foodies, so even though we exercise, our voracious appetites for everything delicious, leaves us looking like fatties! So hiding the fat is what we do and here’s how we do it.

Flabby arms?
Avoid wearing bubble sleeved, tube or tank tops. But if you still insist, you could team the tanks and tubes with sheer long sleeved cover ups. Stop layering, its summer for god’s sake!

Want to make your tummy look flatter?
Stay as far away as you can from those fitted vests, wear a nice tunic instead.
We love those wrap dresses, so flattering.

Chunky thighs?
We say throw away those micro miniskirts and shorts, opt for something flow-y and floaty. Try not to lean towards baggy as that can make you look larger than life!

Find the perfect fit, not too tight or loose.
Oh, we know how hard that can be but come on, we’re the fairer sex nothing is impossible for us, right?!!!

Go monochromatic.
Don’t be afraid to wear bright shades…black is not your only option. We love color and there is no way we’re compromising on that!

Accessorize.
Longer necklaces tend to slim you down as opposed to large belts.
One point to us!

If you got it, flaunt it.
Got great legs?  Wear a mini with perfect shoes and your good to go. Draw attention with a pretty necklace or other accessories if you have a slender neck.
Yes, we’ve been there, tried that ;)

Stand up straight.
As much as we hate to accept it, most of us have a bit of that hunch. Having a good posture can be of great help.

Now that you are sorted with the clothes, don’t forget to style your hair. It is the first thing people will notice about you. (Psst.. If done right, it can knock off some fat too!)

Most of all, dress to be you. Most of the times people like you for who you are and not your size and as far as hiding that is concerned, we’ve got that covered, haven’t we? ;)
Don’t be obsessed with being skinny, we’re real women after all and who says we need to be skinny to look pretty!

For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others;
for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise,
walk with the knowledge that you are never alone.
